Friday Evening, 8:00pm……
SNOW! SNOW! SNOW! That is all……only kidding, ha ha ha, etc…
Saturday Morning, 8:39am……
The snow is still here, and it’s still falling, sheesh! I actually cycled home from work in to last night, which on reflection was a particularly stupid thing to do, although the roads were empty, as the rest of the Midlands had probably gone home at lunchtime. That’s architects for you! It was a little precarious in places, and quite surreal as well, like being in a Doors video or something! Here’s my garden, covered in snow. How lovely…
I think we’re off to the park sledging in a bit, here’s the sledge we’ll use, which is also important for you to know as well…
Sunday Evening, 10:39pm…
Blogging is really starting to pee me off! Finishing this post has been like a millstone around my next all weekend. I was going to blither about all sorts of things but I just can’t face it now! The wife and the kids are off tomorrow due to their schools being closed because of the snow, which, incidentally, has been falling pretty much all day non-stop, but I suspect I will still be expected to drag myself into work, even though I could do my job just as effectively from home! I just love the private sector! We went sledging yesterday, which was fun, although our local park always seems to fill up with people who think they’re in a French Ski resort when it snows! Sallopetes and all sorts make an appearance, they probably simulate the ‘apres-ski’ experience afterwards as well, k***s!!
Here’s a photo of the little guitar shop’s 2013 calendar I mentioned previously. I’m bottom left, in case you can’t tell! The wife was at the Strictly Come Dancing live show at the NIA yesterday, and I went back into a recording studio for the first time in over 14 years today to record a cover of the Beatles song ‘In my life’ that I’m re-wriring for a local singer, which is also up on my Soundcloud page. I hope you like it, it’s a guitar based version with a Hendrix/SRV feel. Enjoy, see you next week, be careful in the snow!
